Actyx offers a decentralized platform for apps on distributed devices as middleware that enables fully automated device connectivity and data persistence between edge devices in a local network without the need for a central server or broker. The highly available, fail-safe backend runs on each device and provides a runtime environment complemented by an event-based framework for deploying and running software (apps). Solutions on the platform are implemented as apps that can be combined in a modular fashion, significantly reducing the barrier to entry and risk for an IT project.
